The dorm has privacy curtains, outlets, coat hooks and a small locker for valuables, and there’s a spot to keep a bike inside the common area. I found it great value for a comfortable night. The six-bed room is on the fourth floor, so be ready for stairs, there’s no elevator. Its only bathroom and shower are up there, while the other one is on the ground floor, which could be a hassle when things are busy. The converted building was clean and tidy, with a well-equipped covered outdoor kitchen, laundry facilities and two balcony seating areas. The owner was generous and very kind.

It’s a quiet spot in Yuli, about two minutes from restaurants and a supermarket and a ten-minute walk from the station. The hostel provides free bikes, plus several places to sit, including a rooftop terrace. WiFi reaches throughout the building, though it can be a bit temperamental. The building spans several floors, and while the rooms are small, they’re arranged well. Beds are firm but comfortable, with thick privacy curtains, a locker, outlet, hooks and a personal light at each one. The staff on site are friendly, though they don’t speak much English. You can message or call Chouling on WhatsApp if you have questions, and she’s very kind and quick to reply. Everything was very clean and nicely laid out. One thing to plan for: payment is cash only, and most places in Yuli don’t take foreign cards.

The rooms were spacious, well equipped and kept clean, and the location was great. There are free washers and a dryer too. I’d happily come back.

There were free bananas, apples and biscuits, with tea and coffee whenever you wanted. The staff were so helpful, communicative and kind, and I slept well on a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean, too. I loved the lovely semi-outdoor area out front and the comfortable atmosphere. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Everything was great!！

The hostel is affordable, comfortable and well placed for exploring around Yuli. The staff were really nice and helped us sort out our stay, including translation and booking a taxi.
