It’s a good place.

The shower had great water pressure, and they’re very pet-friendly. The room wasn’t very soundproof, so light sleepers or dogs could be disturbed easily. I didn’t care for the quite fluffy pillows. Bring your own towels, which is a little inconvenient. There’s no breakfast, but that helps keep the price relatively cheap.

The staff were so friendly, and the environment was wonderful. I had a great stay.

The common areas have plenty of amenities, and the small suite was fairly clean. But for what you pay, I don’t think the value is very good. You also have to sort and dispose of your own trash. The bathroom toothbrushes were as stiff as supermarket floor brushes, and a few bristles fell out even when I brushed lightly. They were harder to use than toothbrushes at other guesthouses and hotels I’ve stayed in. The shower temperature was difficult to control, and it was easy to get scalded. Soundproofing was extremely poor. On the night of November 4, I heard dogs howling on and off. I own a dog and understand that when one barks, others may join in at night, but the doors and walls barely blocked the sound. Around 8 a.m. on November 5, there was also a very loud engine noise. I couldn’t tell if it was a lawnmower or a car engine. It lasted almost 10 minutes and was very annoying that early.
