Dany was so welcoming and helpful. He even drove us to Shizhuo town for dinner and offered to come back for us, and he shared tips on what to see in Alishan. We stayed in the new building and were upgraded to a fantastic, really spacious room with an incredible view. There was homegrown tea, snacks, noodles, and drinks in the room, plus lovely tea and tea eggs in the lobby. Everything was very clean. Highly recommend.

A real family-run place, and you can feel how much care they put into hosting people. Dany was warm and gentle, and helped us get around with useful tips and information. Our room had an amazing view and the service was perfect. Best stay ever, honestly. Hope we get to visit again!

The window looked out over an incredible sea of clouds, and we had a great stay for all three nights. Our room was upgraded to a bigger one, with plenty of complimentary snacks and unlimited water refills. The owner helped with our bags when we arrived early and suggested places to visit that worked with the bus schedule. The stop, ding yongxing, is only about 240 meters away on the main road; buses to Alishan National Recreation Area take about an hour. There were four or five during the day, though they were extremely crowded. Food choices nearby were very limited, but we got salads at Seven eleven for meals. Highly recommend this place.

We had to cancel our trip because of an illness, and Alishan Tea Homestay handled it with so much understanding. They kindly canceled our booking in a stressful situation and made the whole process easy. The staff were attentive and very friendly, and their professionalism and kindness really touched us. We recommend them to anyone visiting the area. We arranged everything directly through WhatsApp, which was easy and convenient.

The owner was so sweet and lovely, and they served us free tea, buns, and biscuits. There was a roasted tea smell when I arrived. Best of the best so far. I loved that the toilet had a bidet spray, which is really rare in Taiwan. Love it!
