Yunlin Business Hotel

Brilliant.

I brought my mother back to our hometown for a family reunion, and this was a really relaxing, high-quality stay. The front desk staff were so welcoming, and both the rooms and the bathtub and shower area were spotless. Parking was easy and hassle-free. The one small downside was that the soundproofing could be better. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I'm back in my hometown.

The room rate of 2780 yuan seemed reasonable, and the room, bed, and floor were fairly clean. There was a large parking lot at the hotel, and shower gel and shampoo were provided. The TV had Netflix and iQiyi too. Breakfast came with a meal voucher. At first they said it would be brought to my room, but the next morning they changed that and told me to pick it up at the front desk. It was cold, which was a downside. The bathtub was very dirty, though I didn't use it. It's generally pretty good. I only took off a star because it's already 2026 and they still have a wall-mounted hair dryer. It isn't a major problem, but it does make your fingers work a bit.

This guesthouse in Tuku Township, Yunlin County, has a quiet atmosphere and a good view over the town's streets and houses. The rooms are reasonably comfortable. Breakfast is shared at a table with an outside breakfast shop and is usually a bread roll and a drink. Meals ordered for delivery have a service charge, so they can feel a bit pricey and aren't especially good value. That's one drawback here.
