Gift Box Hostel

I spent the whole weekend here with a friend. The boss and staff were so kind and friendly, and the common areas have lots of useful resources for travelers. It’s cozy and welcoming, and I highly recommend it. There are lovely cats in the common areas too, which is reason enough to pick this place :))

The common area has a nice homey feel, and the hostel was lovely and clean with good facilities. Momo was so kind and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

The hand-drawn map of nearby good places to eat was useful, and the staff were helpful. You can also rent bikes at a discounted rate through one of their partners. The hostel feels cozy and homey, and works well for travelers who want somewhere fuss-free. There’s a cat and a pug here too, which is reason enough to stay! I had the 10-bed women’s dorm to myself, and at 500 NTD when booking on arrival, it was a real bargain. The room is spacious, with lots of hangers and a balcony for drying clothes and looking at the starry sky. The bed creaks a bit, and the toilet is narrow enough that you have to sit sideways to pee. The station is about a 10-minute walk away, along cobbled pavements that are a long haul with a suitcase.
