Getting around Yilan was easy, and we could get an Uber without trouble. The rooms were roomy and clean, and both the boss and lady boss were so friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the lady boss’s breakfast. It made the stay feel warm and welcoming, like Taiwanese hospitality should.

The homemade breakfast was delicious, and we’d happily come back for another stay. My girlfriend and I had a really relaxing night here. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were excellent.

The next morning’s great weather and view of the lush green rice paddy were so relaxing. Breakfast, made by the owner herself, was lovely too. The guesthouse had such a homey feel, even cozier than home, and staying there felt like coming home. We paid $2500 for three people on a weekday, breakfast included, which felt like very good value. The place was extremely clean. The bed bounced a bit but was very comfortable, in my opinion. The bathroom design was just so-so.

It’s a good choice if you want to stay somewhere away from the crowds, and Luodong is only a 15-minute drive away. There’s a big yard next door with parking. The rooms were bright, spacious, and clean, and the place felt like hotel quality. The hairdryer was powerful and the bath towels were generously sized. Breakfast was plentiful Chinese food, cooked fresh each morning, so it wasn’t cold.
