Denver Milan Hotel

The staff got back to me promptly and were helpful, even though I don't speak Mandarin. There are good restaurants and shops nearby, a 24-hour convenience store right next door, and Bank of Taiwan Huwei Branch is within about a kilometer if you need to exchange USD for NTD. The hotel sits on one of Huwei's main roads. My room was fine, though the shower could have been cleaner. For around 35 USD a night, I really can't complain. The mattress and sheets were satisfactory for me, despite another review mentioning bed problems. I can't speak to the breakfast. For fresh buns or Taiwanese breakfast sandwiches, I'd go a little way down the block to one of the bao shops.

The four-person room I had was the nicer of their two types, with bigger beds, a small living room, and a private balcony. There are only a few parking spots out front, but free parking is available nearby. It's easy to find a meal around here, and breakfast is offered as a buffet. The price is good and the staff are considerate. If you're traveling on a budget, you may be happy with the place.

The staff were kind and humble, and the price was reasonable.
