The rooms were spacious and quiet, the beds really comfortable, and there was a fan in the room. The shower and bathroom were clean and roomy too. The front desk was very friendly, and the lounge was cute, tidy, comfortable, and quiet.

The service was absolutely pathetic. The staff were shockingly rude and unprofessional, and I saw it happen myself. Their English was so poor that even making a simple request felt impossible. If you’re a foreigner or don’t speak Chinese, be ready to be ignored. They seem to label you a “problem customer” just for asking for basic service. If you’re thinking about staying here, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I’ve stayed in four other places in Taiwan, and this was my favorite so far. The location is a little odd, but there are still useful things nearby. The rooms looked bright and were very clean, and the place itself was nice. I slept better than I had in a while because the bed was so comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’d stay again if I came back to the area.

The transport options made this a really convenient base for my six-night solo trip. Buses to and from Taichung Station run very frequently, though you have to walk a little. There’s also a stop right outside for buses to Nantun MRT Station or Yizhong St. Market, and a YouBike station nearby. The room was fine, with a very soft bed and clean bathroom. Sound insulation wasn’t great, but my noise-cancelling earbuds helped, so it wasn’t a big issue. The staff were helpful and understanding even though my Chinese is basically nonexistent. I can’t comment on breakfast since I always woke up right before or after it was served. CPis very good
