The price was affordable, and the rooms were spacious. The bathrooms were large, clean, and tidy, and the air conditioning kept the room cool enough. It's in a small alley near the station, close to Ubiike station, with convenient shopping and dining nearby.

We were stuck here for a night because of the typhoon, and the owners made us feel so welcome. With the rain coming down hard, they didn't want my daughters and me going out to look for food, so they gave us home-cooked meals and fruit. We felt right at home. They also called a taxi to get us safely to the high-speed rail station, and we were very grateful. ❤️ Fangliao Railway Station is very close, and shops and other daily necessities are easy to find nearby. The rooms were simple, clean, and hygienic, with basic amenities available if needed.

Getting around was easy even without transportation. It's just a turn from the train station exit, about like walking from my classroom to the restroom back in school. Nearby there are 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, PX Mart, 85°C bakery, and lots of breakfast shops. The room was very clean, and the guesthouse owner was welcoming and helpful. She said they had only opened in August or September this year and everything had been repainted, which gave the place a comfortable feel as soon as I walked in. Service and convenience were my main priorities, and I was very satisfied with both.

The owners were always friendly and greeted us when we saw them, but for the price, I didn't think the quality was very good. Our double room was upstairs on the second floor, in an unusual room-within-a-room arrangement. The toilet was between two rooms. The old-fashioned, homey style may suit some people, but the basic setup had its drawbacks: there was no refrigerator, the door wasn't soundproof, and although there was material along the bottom, it didn't block much noise. There was air conditioning and a fan. The bed had a firm spring mattress and a thin blanket. Some of the supplied items were a plastic cup, water, disposable towels, shower gel and shampoo, a comb, a toothbrush set, and an old kettle. The shower gel was expired, which really isn't acceptable 🙃. The hairdryer was old and smelled burnt as soon as it was switched on, so we didn't use it and let our hair dry naturally. I suggest replacing it. There was less than half a pack of toilet paper in the bathroom and room at check-in. The owner would've given us more if we'd asked, but she seemed a bit reluctant. I suggest starting guests off with a new, full pack 🙂. The TV remote wasn't working properly. I suggest getting it fixed when nobody is staying, rather than calling someone in while a guest is there 😅. Just a few small suggestions.
