Both bath towels they gave us were uncomfortable to use. They seemed well used and already had holes in them. I hope they can improve this.

The stay was acceptable, but I wouldn't choose to come back. The room had some rotting on the walls, so it looked a little different from the online photos. The plumbing seemed old too, and the sink filled with water on the first day when I brushed my teeth. I saw people go into the room each day, but cleaning felt only half done. On the first day they didn't leave fresh towels, sweep the bathroom, change the floor mat, or empty the full trash can. The blankets had been folded, so someone had clearly been in the room. Fresh bath and hand towels didn't appear until the second day. If they hadn't cleaned at all, I could understand that, since guests could ask for cleaning and that would be more environmentally friendly. This halfway service felt inconsistent, almost like they were just checking the room.

Parking was difficult, and inside the room the smell from the toilet was strong. There were dead cockroaches in the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned, and when I later cleaned it, another one came out. The floor wasn't clean, the bathroom towels were dirty, the floorboards were dirty, and there was dust by the bed. I even found ants on the bed covers. The bath towels smelled bad. It was unbearable. At check-in, nobody was at the counter, and the air conditioning wasn't on. I called several times before anyone picked up. When someone arrived, they asked me to pay first without checking the reservation name. The second-floor room was stuffy and hot.

The bed was comfortable, the price was reasonable, and parking was good. The room design was okay, though there was no refrigerator, which was a shame. There were signs of mold and leaks in many parts of the building, dead insects in the ceiling corners, and the cushion on the black rocking chair looked like it hadn't been washed in ages. The owner is an older woman, and she didn't reply to my messages on Facebook or Booking.com.
