Three of us stayed here for three nights, from July 15, 2017. We had a wonderful experience, with clean sheets, air conditioning, free parking, and a hot-water bath. Breakfast had both Eastern and Western options.

The place is quiet and clean, comfortable inside and out, with pretty flowers and a friendly owner. It’s near Donghua University, and there’s a 7-Eleven just outside the alley. This was my second stay, and it still felt like home. I’d definitely come back if I get the chance.

I planned to stay for three nights and wound up staying five. The rooms were quite clean, and the breakfast was generous. The owner was very friendly, and it’s close to National Dong Hwa University. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Hualien.

The room’s a bit dated, even though the house looks nice from outside. The pillows were so soft and flat that I couldn’t sleep well, and breakfast was very basic. I wasn’t full afterward. At least there’s a 7-Eleven nearby.
