The rooms were good and the service friendly, and there’s a small path straight to the beach, where chairs and towels are free. The spa, pool and buffet were all amazing. The only downside for me was the gym, which is tiny and has hardly any equipment.

We'd stayed here several times over the years, but it has gone downhill a lot. Our trip from 31 Dec 25 to 3 Jan 26 was unpleasant. The pool was dirty, with dead leaves and broken mosaic tiles. I worried about cutting my feet. The gym was barely half a bedroom in size, with a couple of treadmills and bikes, so it wasn't worth using. Dinner at the buffet also disappointed: the roast beef was tough and the cooking was mediocre. The hotel says it doesn't provide drinking water for environmental reasons. They give you a jug, and you have to walk quite a distance down the corridor to fill it. The ice machine is farther away and requires taking the lift. There's a capsule coffee machine, but no creamer or sugar in the room. You have to call reception, then a robot brings them. Room cleaning isn't automatic; you must call reception to request it. Even when they cleaned, they missed things. On day three I found used capsules still in the coffee machine, worked out how to empty them myself, and did it. That also made it seem the machine hadn't been cleaned during my stay.

Breakfast was nice, the view was good, and service was perfect. Having reserved beach chairs was a plus, and weekday parking was easy. The internet was extremely weak, though, barely enough for messages. If you need to get work done, don't count on a reliable connection. It may be a little better in the lobby.

A short walk gets you into town, and public transport is nearby. The beach is right across from the hotel, which has all the facilities you need for a relaxing stay.
