C'est La Vie Villa

The room was nice for the price, with a clean bathroom, solid air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and digital TV. There's a 7-11 right across the street, which is handy. They also have a big room that used to be a restaurant where guests can bring their own food and play board games, including some the guesthouse provides. For nearby places to eat or things to do, there are two books with local suggestions.

The place felt welcoming and was very clean. I'd stay here again.

Hengchun's location worked well for us，since we didn't want to go to Kenting Main Street。Saturday's room rate was also very cheap，which gave me a little confidence in domestic travel。The room was spacious，but there was no elevator，so we had to carry our luggage up to the second floor ourselves。The floor was a little dirty，and walking barefoot left dirty marks。but the sheets and amenities had another hotel's name printed on them😂。The bathroom had poor ventilation，and the hot water also took longer to come。It was thoughtful to have an electric fan in the room，though the air conditioner was rather noisy when running。There were small cookies and popsicles in the lobby，and the spin dryer was free to use👍。The play area is very suitable for preschoolers。

We needed an early start to catch a boat to Houbihu, so we stayed the night in Hengchun. We had often passed this guesthouse and found it online, then decided to give it a try. Since we were coming after work and expected to arrive late, manager Ah-Xian got in touch ahead of time and explained how to check in. We settled into the room to rest, then had a look around the empty lobby. The room was roomy, the bathroom had plenty of space, and the price was reasonable. I'd choose it again on a future trip to Kenting.
