I’d read reviews saying there was no water in the room, but when we arrived there was bottled water in the room and a dispenser on the first floor. I’m not sure if the place has different owners now (o^^o). You can choose breakfast at 8:30 or 9:30. I picked 8:30 and thought the serving was generous. They also leave mosquito repellent on the first floor for guests. I’d seen people online say the pillows were comfortable, and my husband, who’s quite picky about pillows, agreed after sleeping here. Overall, pretty good.

We came during a packed holiday and found the guesthouse by chance. The clouds were so beautiful that I finally understood the name, and my husband and I really didn’t want to leave. We brought two dogs. There was no cleaning fee or deposit, and the room was so roomy we could fit our own dog tent and kennel. The pet-friendly rooms are four-person rooms on the ground floor, but I think they’d work well even for just two people. The door opens onto a huge lawn that the dogs loved. I hope pet owners take good care of a place like this. The room has a retro feel, with a separate bathtub, a men’s urinal, and a huge sink and basin. It felt practical as well as attractive. There’s an LG TV with NF, YT, and D+ channels, plus a fridge and water. The floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the lawn.

The garden and ocean view through the big windows were lovely, with sunlight and a sea breeze making it feel calm when I opened the window. The room has a simple European look, a king-size double bed, and wooden furniture. The bathroom separates wet and dry areas, and soaking in the bathtub while taking in the view was especially relaxing. Breakfast is served at the first-floor restaurant. I watched the butler prepare it, and the cooking was great. It included salad, boiled eggs, chicken breast, bread, yogurt, coffee, and drinks, all fresh and tasty. It was an easy, relaxing stay. The hotel is affordable, welcomes pets, and is not far from Kenting Main Street. If you’re going to Kenting, you could consider staying at "Clouds Are Too Beautiful to Leave the Mountain".

My daughter spent four days and three nights here at the end of August, while my husband and I joined her for just one night. The place was lovely, the rooms were high quality, and breakfast was delicious and changed each day, which showed how much thought the owner put in. A special mention for the housekeeper, Xiao Qiu. He was very nice, explained everything clearly, and even brought our luggage to the room. It was great value, and we’d definitely come back. Highly recommended.
