Kenting Stony Brook Hotel

We came for the peaceful setting and the animals, and those were the highlights. There are ducks, chicken, goats, deer, cats, and dogs around, and we got to feed the goats in the morning. The gardens and buildings make a lovely backdrop, especially when the flowers are blooming, and there are nice spots for photos. The entrance from the main road is easy to miss, but inside the grounds are pleasant and feel different from what you'd expect so close to the sea. The rooms have different styles and are comfortable enough, though they're getting old and the Wi-Fi isn't great. A nice place to unplug and enjoy nature.

The grounds are pretty and quiet, so it can be a relaxing spot. But the campsite feels really overpriced now. You pay for the tent space and by the number of people, even if you bring your own tent. Nearby accommodations offer a lot more for a similar price or less. Also, the pitches are very exposed. If it's windy and your tent isn't sturdy, don't go.

The main strip takes a bit of a walk to reach, but the price is pretty good. Staff were nice and the amenities were good. The hot water showers were okay, though the wall brackets need replacing.

The farm is beautiful, and the comfortable rooms come with lots of animals for children to feed and play with. We also appreciated the self-service coffee and snacks. Breakfast, though, was a bit drab.
