The staff were patient while we communicated through Google Translate, since I don’t know the language, and they gave me useful route suggestions for my ride to Taichung the next day. I’d arrived late after a full day on my motorcycle, without a reservation, and they kindly found room for me. Having a shower, air conditioning, and a soft bed was a huge relief. The restaurant next door served delicious breakfast, and it was adorable seeing the kids playing out front. The place was very close to the Southernmost Point in Taiwan, where I was headed that day.
