Villa Yagoo

We were happy with our stay overall, though there's some room to improve. The larger room had a queen bed and enough space for five of us, with three boys using the sofa bed. The smaller room also had a queen bed, with its own separate bathroom and toilet area. In the bigger room, the bathing area was the same, and there was a minibar; the bath amenities were l'occitane. We woke to a lovely sea view and a warm breakfast the host prepared, arriving an hour early to get it ready. The small pool attached to the larger room was great fun, and we brought our own unicorn and goose floats.

The indoor pool looks beautiful, and the decor is very trendy and Instagram-worthy. The plentiful breakfast was another plus, and the optional floating breakfast and rafts are a fun touch. But the place is expensive, and there's a strong chlorine smell from the indoor pool that could bother people with sensitive skin. I suspect the water isn't changed between every group of guests. If you stay, I'd suggest keeping it to one night at most. There were also lots of dirty or rusty spots that hadn't been cleaned, a worn-out welcome photo album, stains on the invoices on the table, and a broken outdoor sofa. The operators should put more effort into cleaning and upkeep while charging this much. It's remote too, so for decent food you'll need to drive to Hengchun, though Google Maps should make that clear when booking.

The breakfast at Bihai was a real surprise, generous portions, fresh fruit, and genuinely tasty food. Other places may serve breakfast mainly for the pictures, so I thought I might be disappointed, but not here. The room was spotless, comfortable enough to walk around without slippers, and the service and housekeeper were great. From outside, arriving felt like a surprise, and inside the room lived up to the name. It has a romantic getaway feel. We came to unwind and had a lovely vacation. It's about a half-hour drive from Kenting Main Street. If you're planning a trip, eat well and pick up anything you need, since the kitchen is for guests staying that day. It felt just like home ❤️

The housekeeper was so friendly, almost like a friend, and breakfast was delicious. The villa has a sofa and a bed, and it looks like at least four people could stay comfortably, probably six as well. It would be a fun choice for a family trip. We were thrilled when we arrived, what a stunning place to start our Kenting trip. We came during the off-season and absolutely loved the experience. Definitely somewhere worth visiting 🥰
