Baseball exquisite hotel

The room we were moved to, 207, was really poor quality and noisy, far below what I expected. I won’t stay here again. I’d booked room 602 a week ahead and paid in full, including the pet fee, but when we arrived on Chinese New Year's Day, they told us another customer had extended their stay in 602 for 10 days. Why hadn’t anyone told us? They said only three rooms were left. One woman even joked that 602 was the same size as 603, while the receptionist kept blaming the shift change and saying she knew nothing. The hotel had received our money and promised we could check into 602 that day. Why should we have to bear the consequences? We chose that room type because we had a pet stroller and a suitcase. The staff said the stroller hadn’t been pushed down and left at the counter, but our pet slept in it and never touched the bed. They eventually let us move to room 207. Since I’d paid ahead, the receptionist’s attitude of avoiding responsibility was appalling. I feel my rights weren’t protected.

The front desk staff were awful, and the hotel was in really bad shape. It’s old and musty, the sheets smelled, and there were fleas. Hsinchu has other hotels, so I wouldn’t recommend this one or give it a single star.

It’s close to Hsinchu City God Temple, with lots of good restaurants and a PX Mart nearby. The staff were all very friendly, and even though the place looks a bit old, the equipment inside is complete. The hair dryer was excellent, definitely worth 5 stars! 🤣🤣

They did help us find a parking space, which was the one good thing. The air conditioning wasn’t cool enough, and it was hot at night even without a blanket. The bathroom also wasn’t clean, with body hair on the floor.
