The elevators and the area around them on the first floor smelled strongly of sewage. It was really unpleasant and made me regret staying this trip. The room itself was sparkling clean, and the hotel had nearly everything we needed, including laundry, a gym, smart TV, coffee, and parking. There was no microwave, but that wasn’t a big deal.

We chose this hotel for its reputation and expected standard, but the service fell well short. We paid €250 for one night expecting professional, caring service. When we arrived at 3:30 PM, the room wasn’t ready, so we waited another 30 minutes in the lobby with our one-year-old baby. Our baby was sick and unfortunately vomited on the bed later that night. We called for help, but the manager said housekeeping was off duty and we’d have to clean up and change the sheets ourselves. That was shocking and completely unacceptable. A five-star hotel should have 24-hour support for basic hygiene and guest emergencies. Deeply disappointing.

This is my second trip to Hsinchu, and I made sure to stay here again. Everyone is super friendly. Osmond and Trista were especially helpful, even finding me a local gift I’d never have found on my own. This is the place to stay!

After a busy day exploring, the room felt like a peaceful retreat. It was sleek, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful details like high-quality linens, smart lighting, and excellent amenities. The modern design and attention to detail really stood out. Staff were consistently warm, helpful, and professional, whether I needed local suggestions or help with my stay. EPISODE made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, and the hospitality made the experience unforgettable.
