The staff were really kind, and I enjoyed the breakfast. But the state of room 1306 was a real letdown, even though I hadn't expected much at the cheap price. There was a big clump of dust behind the sofa, and mold was spread around the room, including the ceiling, bathroom, and shower head, especially where the water comes out. This is a cleanliness issue, even if the hotel is old. Would you be happy with that in your own home? Anyone considering staying here should think about it.

The breakfast was just so-so, though the coffee machine was a nice way to start the morning. I stayed one night and found the room cozy, clean, and comfortable. It was also huge, with a sofa where you could relax.

The hotel is well placed for walking to many popular spots nearby, and there are several parks for children as well as pleasant paths along the river. It's clean and comfortable, and not too expensive. A decent place to stay.

The room looked dated, and the walls were dirty. The fridge didn't work, so we requested ice, but it took nearly an hour to arrive. We called every 15 minutes and were repeatedly told it was already on its way. There was only one pillow, and when we asked for another, they said the hotel was fully booked. A quick check on booking.com seemed to show otherwise. I don't understand why they'd lie to guests over an extra pillow.

The building looks old and could use renovations, but the rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were very thoughtful and nice. Internet is free, with both WiFi and a wired connection. WiFi was stable and worked very well. Bring an Ethernet cable if you want to use the wired option.
