The HO Hotel

The breakfast room on the second floor is quite attractive, and there are nutritious choices like salads and baked goods. The hotel is very close to National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Hsinchu City. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the complimentary spa service made for a peaceful stay. I do think the service could improve. For example, it would be better if drinking water bottles were provided for guests.

I came back after a couple of months. Most things were still much the same: a decent room and breakfast, and a “gym” with just cardio machines and dumbbells. I’d planned to use the massage chairs, which were supposedly broken “temporarily.” Months later, they’re still out of order. At this point they seem to be there just for decoration.

Breakfast came with the room and had a full selection of Chinese and Western food. The location worked really well for me since NYCU, where I needed to go, is within walking distance. The rooms were fine and had a pretty American style, although the bathroom looked a little dated.

What stayed with me most about THE HO HOTEL was how carefully the staff handled a lost item. After my mother and I checked out and continued our trip, the hotel emailed to say housekeeping had found her Buddha amulet necklace in our room. It was personal and sentimental to her. They included a clear photo, asked if it was ours, and checked how we wanted them to proceed. I was touched by their honesty, care, and prompt, respectful contact. I’m grateful to housekeeping and the front desk team for their professionalism and kindness. We stayed at THE HO HOTEL in Hsinchu in June 2025. The warm hospitality, clean and spacious room, and wheelchair access had already made a good impression. This was more than good service to me, it showed real integrity and care for guests. If you want a comfortable hotel in Hsinchu where guests are treated with heart, I’d recommend it. 🙏💫
