The room had no hot water and the soundproofing was poor. I'd clearly said during the three confirmation steps that we needed separate beds, but they gave us a double bed anyway, which wasted a lot of time. I was exhausted and just needed somewhere comfortable to rest. They also said I could get a receipt at checkout. In the morning, a different employee gave me the key and asked what was wrong. Is there no proper staff training? The male employee had a really bad attitude and took ages to write. I strongly advise against staying here.

There was barely anywhere for the three of us to eat the food we'd brought back. The room had only one small fixed table and one chair, so one person sat on the bed while the other two ate standing up. It was also very old and looked nothing like the photos. The shower sprayed water all over, with no way to get a focused stream. We couldn't find the front desk to ask about changing rooms, so we ended up having to stay.

The room itself was nice, and the service was good. The mattress felt a little firm, though, and sound carried too easily between rooms. That really needs improvement.

It's hard to get any proper rest here because the soundproofing is so bad. I asked the people next door to lower their volume, but they kept laughing and chatting until the early morning. The door lock is very basic, too. At 1000 yuan a night, they might as well stop offering accommodation for volunteers.
