The hotel is really old, and I didn't enjoy showering in the bathtub because the shower head splashes water everywhere. The Wi-Fi was pretty slow too. On the plus side, it's right next to Taichung city hall MRT station and very close to a beautiful, high-end part of Taichung. You can easily get to Taichung high speed rail station by MRT.

The hotel is nice, though a little basic, and it's in a perfect spot for the Run for Our Planet Half Marathon, which I came to Taichung to run. City Hall MRT is directly across the road. I really enjoyed the event. They told me I'd get free breakfast if I gave them a five-star review, so here goes, five stars.

We only stayed one night, and being close to the MRT stop at city hall worked perfectly for us. The bed was especially important to me, and it was very long. The place is somewhat old but spotless, and the price was very reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean, with properly hot water and great pressure.
