The staff were courteous and so helpful, and the location made getting around easy, just a five-minute walk from the main train station. This was the best hotel of our whole Taiwan trip, and I’d book it again if we return. There was a lot included for the price: free laundry that was kept very clean, snacks, tea, ice cream, breakfast and dinner, plus bikes, umbrellas, and water bottles. The rooms were spotless, bathroom essentials were stocked, and they provided separate slippers for the room and bathroom.

I wasn’t even staying here, but when I called to ask where I could exchange money, the staff stayed on the line and guided me to a place that could help. Banks were closed for the weekend, and other hotels nearby hadn’t been able to help, so I really appreciated their kindness. I’ll stay here next time I’m back in Hualian.

The room was great and the location was good, but housekeeping fell short: they didn’t replace the towels or empty the bin. The bathroom floor stayed wet, and the shower didn’t drain well.

The breakfast had a great range of choices, and the rooms were clean and spacious. It’s within walking distance of the train station and many Hualien sights.

The furniture felt a little dated, but the room was very large and clean. It’s under five minutes by taxi from the main train station, and worked well for a short visit.
