We've stayed twice and enjoyed both visits. The location is great, just minutes from Hualien train station, and the staff are welcoming and responsive. The beds were clean, the room had hot showers, and the price was reasonable. Both times we accidentally left personal belongings behind, the staff quickly contacted us on Line and mailed them back. Thanks so much, we'll come again!

The retro look feels cosy and practical, and the bunk beds are comfortable. It's very close to the train station, with car and bike rentals right next door.

We were allowed to change our dates and keep the same rate, which was nice. The friendly staff also stored our luggage before and after checkout and kept our bikes in the back courtyard. We got a larger room than booked, and it was clean, comfortable, and had good AC. Just know the rooms have wet baths, and street-facing rooms can be a bit noisy. The station is a five-minute walk away, while downtown takes about 15 minutes. Cash only.

Clean and quiet, and close to Huelien Train station. You can rent bikes in the neighborhood to get to the night market, Qixingtan, and other places. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good stay in Hualien.

The common areas were clean, comfortable, and nicely styled, with water, tea, and coffee available. The whole place felt warm, friendly, and down to earth. Our room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Outside noise wasn't too bad later in the evening, and I slept well, though light sleepers might want earplugs. Mini Voyage Hostel is right across from the train station, which worked really well for us. The receptionists were friendly, communicative, and quick to help. Thanks especially to Frank for being so helpful at check in and sharing great local food recommendations.
