The main downside was having only one key set. It opens the front gate and lobby door, and also has to be plugged in to turn on the room’s power. If one roommate goes out and returns at midnight, they may have to call the person inside to come downstairs and let them in. The homestay is about 4 km, or a 10-minute drive, from downtown Hualien, so driving yourself or renting a scooter is more convenient. It was clean, and you need to change into indoor slippers before entering. On the ground floor there’s a coffee machine, magazines and a sofa. I stayed in the second-floor master room. The 360-degree rotating TV wasn’t working when we tried to turn it toward the bed. The bathroom had a bathtub, towels, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste.

The spacious, clean rooms and bathtubs made it easy to sleep well during our three-night stay. Before we arrived, the helpful customer service team suggested nearby restaurants and clearly walked us through the check-in steps. It was great value, and I’d recommend the guesthouse to basketball teams playing at Hualien Stadium. We’ll come back next time.

The owner was so friendly and had thoughtful suggestions for Hualien restaurants and places to visit. Parking was easy, and the location made getting to attractions convenient, especially for a family trip or a group booking the whole guesthouse. The place was clean and spacious, and the price felt like good value. I’d happily stay here again when I’m back in Hualien. 😊

The landlady was so patient when my child's competition meant I kept having to change our dates, and she was willing to hold the room for me. I've stayed twice now, and it's always quiet and clean. Thanks so much! 😊 I'll definitely book again next time I'm in Hualien ❤️

I came back for a second stay, and the owner was just as friendly. Checking myself in was easy, and they shared details about things to do nearby. It's pet-friendly, though you should ask ahead about room availability. ❤️ I'll be staying here more often on future Hualien visits. 🥰
