The communication was quick, friendly, and easy, and we got good food tips through Line. We were also lucky to find a parking space at the inn, though there are only about 4-5 spots at most. The location is handy for walking to Dongdamun Night Market and the two culture centers. Our room was spacious, and the bed was a generous 180x220cm, which suited us since neither of us is small or slender. Just a couple of things could be improved: early morning light comes through the bathroom door, so it gets quite bright. Maybe a solid wood door would help. And some extra storage, like a shelf, would be useful.

The night market is an easy walk from Otis Inn, which made it simple to spend our evenings trying local food and browsing. Parking is limited, but that felt like a small tradeoff for the location and the rest of our stay. We found the staff friendly, the rooms clean, spacious, and well equipped, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Our family had a wonderful visit, and we’d absolutely recommend Otis Inn to families looking for a comfortable place near local attractions.

The host’s kindness stood out from the moment I arrived. They were attentive, happy to answer questions, and suggested local attractions, always with a smile. The hotel was spotless, and I felt reassured by how carefully the staff kept the premises clean. My room was a comfortable retreat after exploring Hualien. It was tastefully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a peaceful, home-away-from-home feel. This was one of my best hotel stays in Taiwan, thanks to the welcoming host, the relaxing atmosphere, and the cleanliness. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Hualien, and I can’t wait to come back.

It’s an easy walk to the night market, and the service here really impressed us. We’d missed the chance to book train tickets to Taipei for New Year’s Day. Even though the website said they were fully booked, the staff helped arrange tickets and a ride to the train station. I’d recommend staying here if you’re in hualien.
