The little decorative touches and the individually prepared breakfast gave the place a relaxed holiday feel. I had a lovely stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a balcony. Cross the road and you’re at the stone beach, where you can hear the waves. The night market, 711, a laundromat and restaurants are all a short walk away. Bikes are free to rent. There’s no elevator, so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage, though the staff kindly carried mine upstairs. Thanks for a lovely experience!

We’d happily stay here again when we return to Hualien. It’s easy to get to from the train station, and most places, including Dongdamen Night Market, are walkable. The hotel is right across from a very rocky beach, with beautiful sunrise views. We had the queen room on the fourth floor, with a patio and sea view, and waking up to the water was so relaxing. The bikes made it easy to ride to Qixingtan beach; if they’re already in use, there’s a good rental shop at the end of the block. Breakfast was a nice touch, and communication was great. The place was very clean. There’s no lift, so remember there are four floors.

The breakfast wasn’t much to write home about, just a bagel and cold tea, but there’s a coffee machine in the lobby that’s available around the clock. The room was clean and spacious, with a nice ocean view from the balcony. The woman at check-in was very friendly and explained everything.

We had a great time here with our two kids, ages 2 and 4. The room was huge, with an ocean view and a really big balcony, so there was more than enough space for all of us. We liked being close to the beach, with the city and Night Market within walking distance. Bonnie and the other staff were friendly, accommodating, and had lots of useful information for us. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Warm, helpful staff and a great breakfast, which we enjoyed with the view from our room. The rooms are spacious and look out over the sea. Dongdamen night market is a quick walk away, and there are quaint cafes and places to eat nearby. A lovely Hualien stay.
