Free bikes made getting around really convenient, and the staff were especially kind and helpful. The hotel may be a little older, but our room was clean and roomy enough. For what we paid, it was hard to ask for more. We had a delightful stay.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the price was excellent. We stayed in a spacious family room with a very large LCD TV, and it was so convenient being close to Dongmen Night market and places to eat. The hotel seems to be past its prime and could use some refurbishing, though I still liked the room.

There’s a night market nearby, and the free bikes make it easy to ride out to the coast, which isn’t far. The staff were friendly and suggested lots of places to eat. There’s also a bus station close by for trips to Taroko Gorge, but be warned, the return bus to Hualien downtown can involve a long wait. I stayed here some time ago.

The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful. We ran into some problems at check-in and with the bathroom, but they kept helping us get them sorted out.
