The breakfast really impressed me. The dining area was clean and comfortable, with a good range of Chinese and Western choices. I liked that the milk and juice were freshly opened cans, since I really don’t like mixed juice. The toast was springy, with crispy edges that tasted great with butter. For a Saturday night, it was only 2600 RMB. The room was clean, comfortable, and free of odors, with an air purifier and dehumidifier. The bathtub was clean and didn’t look old or dirty. The comforter wasn’t too thick, so I didn’t get too hot, and I loved the low, soft pillows. I didn’t have neck pain like Chen Weimin. The bathroom floor gets slippery when wet, but there was a non-slip mat, so be careful. There was a wide selection of TV programs. Definitely a five-star budget motel.

The service was great, from the man who took my reservation over the phone to the receptionist who checked us in. Our room was spacious and clean, and despite being a motel, it had no smoke smell at all. We booked a business room, and the parking spot had a partial awning that kept the car out of the sun. The only downside was the bathroom setup. There was a bathtub and shower, but no separate shower area, so water easily splashed onto the floor. The price was very cheap during Chinese New Year and included a simple buffet breakfast, so it was great value. I’d gladly return if I get the chance.

On the evening of February 23rd, both the receptionist and the woman who answered the phone were rude. There wasn’t any toilet paper. When I told the receptionist, she said, “You guys figure it out yourselves.” I just rolled my eyes. Was she even listening?
