Walker Hotel - Zhengyi

The rooms are really spacious, and the hotel has what you need for the price. I do wish there were bidets, and the shared areas could use a little work.

The room itself was clean and perfectly fine, though I couldn't figure out the bathroom wall that's see-through at both the top and bottom. The surroundings felt sketchy: the first floor has gambling machines, odd people hang around, and the place is usually very dark. I even saw a homeless person sleeping in the second-floor hallway at night. If you just need a room and don't mind the area, it works.

Having grocery stores close by made getting around much easier. I also found Room 642 clean and comfortable, and had a wonderful stay.

The room felt old and more like a warehouse than a hotel, and it looked nothing like the photos. We had booked a twin room with two double beds but were given one king bed instead. The staff were rude when we asked, telling us to accept it because nothing could be done. Weekend rates were almost ten times higher, which is ridiculous. At that price, there are cheaper options in central shopping areas, closer to the shops. One of the worst stays I've had. Avoid it.
