Good Times B&B

The yard gave our group plenty of room, including parking for all five cars, and the guesthouse is still close to downtown and the night market. Inside, there was lots of space and it felt comfortable. The owner was so friendly and walked us through all the facilities. Even with a big, noisy group, we didn't have to worry about bothering the neighbors. We had an amazing stay and will come back to Hualien.

The cartoon-themed rooms were adorable and great for photos, and the kids had room to run around with the cats and geese. The whole place was spacious and comfortable, with plenty for adults and children to enjoy, and good value for the money. We rented the whole Good Time Guesthouse with friends for the first time. We could barbecue, sing karaoke without disturbing anyone since it isn't connected to other guesthouses, and play mahjong on an automatic table. There was even a beginner tutorial. The kitchen had what we needed to cook, including a microwave, rice cooker, and oven. I'd happily come back.

The owner was kind and suggested nearby places to eat and visit, and parking was easy for us since we drove. Our 3-year-old and 5-year-old loved arriving at Good Time Homestay and immediately started jumping and playing. Their rooms were clean and comfortable, and the friendly, adorable cats even rolled over so the children could rub their bellies. The relaxed atmosphere made the stay feel safe and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

We'd have loved to see the yard plants pruned and tidied up more, since my husband and I both enjoy gardening and think the space could be used better. That aside, the two nights renting the whole house were really comfortable. It was clean, tidy, and spacious, with a huge amount of tableware, plus basic seasonings and kitchen equipment. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the Line messages before booking were quick and easy. There weren't other residents nearby, so our late singing didn't disturb neighbors, though the owner lives behind the house and we probably kept him up. Our group sang until 3 a.m. one night and 4 a.m. the next. The geese behind the house snored at night and made a loud meowing sound when we got close during the day, so it was lively. The shower had strong pressure and very hot water. I also loved the cloud karaoke selection, where you can find and sing any song, and the provided soccer ball toy was so fun that it made me want to buy one. Guai Guai was protective of home, greeting me when we arrived and sitting by the door when we left the next day. I also won several rounds on the electric mahjong table on my first try.
