We stayed two days and felt at home thanks to the owners, who were warm and hospitable from the start. They welcomed us with hot tea and biscuits. The house was clean and comfortable, and our cozy room had air conditioning, a small fan, and windows that open. We liked the large queen bed and firm mattress. The ensuite was a good size, with basic amenities provided. There's private parking on site for about four cars, and Hualien town is roughly a 10-minute drive away. The owners have dogs, and pets are welcome.

We all had a good time, and the owner was very welcoming. The staff were great with pets, too. Their gentle dog was friendly with everyone in our group from the moment we met. The garden landscaping made the surroundings feel relaxing, and the mattress was clean and comfortable. The comforter's fabric felt especially nice.
