My family came here around April or May this year to celebrate Mother’s Day and my grandmother’s birthday. Some of us already knew the owner, but he was still incredibly kind and charged very reasonable prices. We had a fun, enjoyable day, and spent ages playing on the electric mahjong table. The house has three full floors, and the view outside in the morning was beautiful. They even lent us their car to get to and from Hualien train station. Thanks for helping make such a lovely family memory.

The location worked out really well for our friends’ vacation in Hualien. It’s quiet but convenient, with Qingxiu Temple and many well-known attractions close by. The city center is about a five-minute drive, and Shoufeng is a short drive the other way. We slept well because the rooms have concrete partitions that kept noise from the rooms above, below, and beside us from carrying through. Every room also has a private bathroom, which made things easy for both adults and children. It felt like a peaceful spot in the middle of the busy area.

The landlady gave excellent service, and the room was very clean. If you’re in Hualien, make sure to visit Yuqing Homestay!

The owner was considerate and friendly, and the guesthouse was clean and comfortable.
