G66 Motel

The first room had a strong cigarette smell. The computer wouldn’t start, and the TV remote couldn’t change channels. I complained at the front desk and they moved us to a room with a working computer, but the internet there was terrible. It was filthy and messy, and worst of all, there was no hot water. My husband and I checked out. I’ve never had such a bad hotel stay in my life, and I couldn’t accept it. The room itself had seemed okay, and the app listing had looked promising, with a 58-inch HD TV synced to a computer screen, VOD Blu-ray movies, free Wi-Fi, and a separate shower and toilet. The photos looked nice too. Absolutely awful, not even worth one star.

On New Year's Eve, our first room had a leak in the bathroom ceiling, so they moved us. The new bathroom had no door, and without running the dehumidifier all the time the room got very damp. The bathtub also leaked a little, and the TV picture was very poor. Breakfast could be delivered at the scheduled time.

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the delicious rice burgers, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. I checked in last Wednesday to room 202, where the jacuzzi suddenly started by itself while we were drinking. The receptionist handled it well and moved me right away. The facilities were good and the stay comfortable. At 1580 NTD a night, it was really cheap and great value for money, 94/100. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in Taoyuan and recommend it to friends.

When I complained, they only offered to move me to a room without a bathtub. For this price it was a terrible stay, and their attitude wasn’t even worth one star.
