Every night I heard the same thing, an old rooster crowing for about 10-15 minutes somewhere between 11:30 PM and midnight. It sounded completely out of time, almost like it was singing me to sleep. The rooster probably belongs to a neighbor, not the guesthouse, but I’d really like to meet it. Hearing it daily left me with a funny, memorable impression. 🤣

We were in town for a cycling event, and the owner and staff were so friendly. They even let us come back to shower after the race and offered to keep our luggage. That was really kind. The room was clean and spacious.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location was handy while still away from the busy main streets. I especially liked the courtyard parking area, full of greenery, and the landscaped pond where the kids could feed the fish. Staff were friendly and shared restaurant recommendations, then helped us book several activities. They turned a potentially unpredictable Hualien trip into a string of lovely memories. Great value, too.

The landlady has lots of thoughtful touches, and the soundproofing, hairdryer, and easy parking were all appreciated. I keep staying here whenever I come, you’ll get it when you watch the video. Thanks for sharing it!

We stayed two nights, and breakfast was included, delicious, too. Pacific Park nearby was a great place to catch the sunrise. The room was clean and parking was available. On our first day, we accidentally damaged a lotus root, but they quickly replaced it. We’re grateful the guesthouse made our stay so enjoyable, and we’ll definitely return.
