The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke as soon as we opened the door. Shouldn’t it be cleaned and aired out before guests arrive? It’s especially frustrating for nonsmokers. Staff said they’d use some kind of deodorizer, but by then we were already inside with our belongings, and worried they’d absorb the smell. We also had a young child, aged 0-3, with us. The whole situation felt awful.
