NOWHERE Retreat is tucked into a quiet part of Yilan, among local farms and birdsong. It's easy to reach from the train and bus stations, and sits between Yilan's main attractions. The place feels modern and peaceful, with lovely furnishings and what we needed for a comfortable, pain free getaway. We were only two, but the house can comfortably fit more than eight. There's good natural light during the day, a theatre system with karaoke, and a large shared room alongside master bedrooms. Management was kind and helpful with directions, food suggestions, and places to visit, and they were English friendly. It seems suited to both groups of friends and families. I can see why NOWHERE Retreat is popular, and our stay made me want to visit Yilan again. Update: The new curtains are fantastic, much thicker than before and good for sleeping in longer. There's also a new cover over the outdoor area, so it's rain-proof.

The host was lovely, and the bed was really soft and comfortable. I also loved the cute green couch and all the beautiful little decor touches. Amazing!

We had such a fun time with the family here, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The owner had thoughtfully put together a list of nearby restaurants and attractions for guests, and all the recommendations were fantastic. The first-floor living and dining space is roomy enough for karaoke and movies. It feels relaxing and carefree, like being at home. Thank you! 💕👍👏
