The room was lovely and clean, with a little tub for soaking in the hot spring water. The shower products were good, and the bed, pillows, and blanket were really comfortable if you like a firm bed. But the food service was bad enough that I can only give two stars. At 9:30 pm, after a long trip, my family went to look at the supper and asked the woman at the entrance, Ms.Kao, if we could look first before deciding whether to eat. She looked impatient, and when we stepped out to discuss it, she hurried us along with, “Can I have the voucher NOW!” It was a lousy start to the stay. Breakfast wasn't much better. Apart from the porridge, coffee, noodles, and toast, the food that should have been hot was warm or cold. The baked potato was undercooked, and the chicken nuggets, hash browns, shaomai, and other items were cold. It's a very nice hotel, but with food service like that, it doesn't feel worth NT$5k+.

Getting around is the one real drawback, since transportation is inconvenient. The staff were friendly and professional, though, and the room had the necessary facilities and furnishings. The restaurant was nice and the food was okay. There’s also a hot spring and a gym. We had a good experience overall.
