Being so close to the city center and right across from a supermarket was handy. The room itself was fine, but the bathroom light wouldn't switch off and soundproofing was awful. We were told to check out at 9 am because of the marathon we were running, which felt too early, and then they changed it to 10:30. Booking had listed checkout as 11. It was fine in the end.

The rooms were clean, though not very big, and the price was about average. Parking is behind the hotel. Tour groups could make it noisy, and breakfast was simple, but I really liked the preserved egg and lean pork congee. We'd definitely come back.

The rooms were spacious, but mold in the toilets left me concerned about the hotel's overall cleanliness.

The room was cold and the bed comfortable, which was nice. The rest of our stay felt less pleasant. In July's sweltering heat, the lobby had no air conditioning, and the restaurant on the sixth floor relied on natural airflow and a few ceiling fans. It had a fantastic view, but breakfast was hard to enjoy in that heat. Maybe this was for energy and carbon savings, or to feel closer to nature. Bring hand soap: the rooms only had shower gel in the shower area, with no sink or soap. Our group had to buy soap at the PX Mart across the street. The men should bring razors too. After three days we were all looking scruffy, so we went back to PX Mart to buy razors and tidy up. Very committed to environmental protection.

The facilities feel quite old, although the hotel is not far from the city center. Booking through ez travel costs less.
