Ai Tan Ji

I was in room "2rear" on the second floor. The room looked new and modern, but it clearly hadn't been cleaned properly after the previous guest. There was food in the sink, different kinds of hair on the bed, sheets that looked hastily arranged and weren't folded properly, and stained towels. The heat was the worst part. The AC ran, but seemed unable to cool the room past a limit. It felt like 28°C, and the bed area like 32°C. The tiny space was so hot that I struggled to breathe and ended up with a bad headache. There was a window high on the wall, but it faced a nearby building so close that all I could see was a wall. There wasn't even a fan to help. I told the owner, who seemed to know the AC was a problem, but chose not to replace it. They said nothing could be done. I suffered all night and seriously considered sleeping in the 7-11 next door. This was my worst experience in taiwan. It wasn't worth what I paid, and now I'm suspicious of other places too. I also saw roaches in the bathroom, which had a strong scent. I can't express how disappointed and dissatisfied I was. I would never recommend staying here.
