The staff really impressed us. We left something valuable in the room by mistake, and they went out of their way to help, even offering to ship it to our next hotel. The self check-in and check-out were also simple and seamless. Our room at CU Hotel Kaohsiung was spacious and comfortable, with enough room for our family to settle in. The location is handy for Kaohsiung Main Station, restaurants, and local food vendors, all within walking distance. One drawback: the shower is set low. At 170 cm or 5’7”, I had to crouch or use the bath to rinse, so taller guests may want to keep that in mind.

The location is excellent, less than a minute on foot from Kaoshiung train station, and for what we paid, it was good value compared with hotels I’ve tried in cities like Yilan and Hualien. We had a double room for two nights. It was spacious, cosy, clean, and decorated in a classic style. There was a water dispenser, washing machine and dryer, plus self-service snacks for sale. The self check-in and check-out machine at the entrance was quick and efficient.

The double room I stayed in was clean and spacious, with a window. CU hotel is right across from Kaohsiung train station, which makes it convenient for getting around. I’d recommend staying here if you come to Kaohsiung.

The self check-in and check-out were very convenient, and there’s free luggage storage. The room was quiet, clean, and spacious. Kaohsiung main train station and the metro red line are just across the street.

The room and bed were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was great. The bathroom is small, and some water still gets onto the floor even with the curtain closed. The hotel, next to Kaohsiung Main Station, was clean and tidy. Guests handle their own check-in and check-out. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a halal certificate there.
