H2O Hotel

The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the front desk staff friendly. There were free snacks and drinks, and breakfast came as a mix of à la carte and buffet, ordered with table clips. It was decent, though nothing memorable. The location is handy, beside the metro and night market. But for $250 a night and a claimed five-star level, the experience disappointed me and felt closer to three stars. Our first room was humid and smelled, so it needed a dehumidifier. The hallways had a strong perfume smell, and the lobby on the 20th floor was shared with events, making it crowded and loud. There are only three elevators, and they’re slow.

The receptionist was very polite, and the reception area was very clean. My wife had to leave at 6:30 in the morning, and they kindly offered her a breakfast box. The service was superb, and I’d stay here whenever I’m in Kaohsiung.

From check-in and checkout to room service and restaurant food, the staff were friendly, professional, and well trained. Best service experience ever, and thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

The hotel is luxurious and the room was incredibly comfortable. The whole place smelled nice, too. We used the gym and pool, both open from 6:30 am. It’s a ten-minute walk from Kaohsiung Arena, and there’s a free shuttle to and from HSR Zuoying Station. Best hotel I’ve stayed at in Kaohsiung.
