I’ve been living here for around 7-8 months and plan to stay another 2-3 months. The owner is very kind and easy to reach. My room is spacious, with a good bed and useful furniture, including a desk, table, chairs, and loveseat. The AC is a godsend, the TV is big and high quality, and the shower is huge with good water pressure.

I lived here for a year while studying in Kaohsiung. The rooms are a good size, the location is good, the service is nice, the owner is friendly, and the bed is good. It’s one of the best hotels I found in Taiwan. I missed it as I traveled around and realized nowhere was as good as Hamastar.

The couple who run this small place were so kind, and the facilities were really nice. I especially loved the rooftop. Mornings must be lovely there, but watching the sunset and spending the evening with snacks and drinks was such a great way to unwind. I came to visit a friend at Sun Yat Sen University and wanted somewhere nearby. The room was clean, and it had the amenities I needed. They even gave us extra water when they found out we were heading to the beach. It’s an easy walk to both the school and the MRT. I’d definitely come back, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to stay nearby. Thanks so much :)

The free barbecue was such a highlight, especially with the stars out. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they speak Chinese, English, and Korean. This stylish boutique hotel is in a peaceful spot, with a beautiful river and mountain within walking distance. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed, and ours looked even better than the photos. The couch was surprisingly cool, and the shower was comfortable. The bathroom is tiny, but that didn’t bother me, and the room had everything we needed. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Thanks, Hama star ♡
