Harbour 10 Hotel

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is decent. Our river-view rooms had unbeatable views, facing Love River, and the location is really convenient, right next to the biggest 7-11 I’ve ever seen. The one negative is the NT $500 charge for a lost key card, which I saw mentioned in other reviews. That feels highly unusual.

The corner room overlooking the river had a lovely sunset view, and the location is great if you want to be by the river. It’s around 500 meters from the nearest LRT station, an easy walk, and you can see the hotel from the station. Staff service was generally decent, though the unpleasant smell at the lobby front desk seems to be a common complaint. The facilities are outdated and need upgrades. The toilet still requires used tissue to go in a small bin instead of being flushable. Soundproofing is poor too, so I could hear everything in the hallway. Luckily, my neighbor was considerate and tried to keep quiet. The Wi-Fi needs attention. It kept disconnecting, so I had to buy my own cellular data. It wasn’t just my room: I tried connecting to the other room’s Wi-Fi using the password pattern in the instructions, and that disconnected every minute as well. The lobby Wi-Fi worked normally, but the hotel should fix the room connections promptly.

The harbor view was beautiful, and I loved the bathroom. The hotel has a nice concept, but the breakfast buffet was pretty average. Staff honestly didn’t seem very friendly, and looked annoyed by questions or requests. There were children everywhere, running, laughing, screaming, and crying. It might be great for families, but as a solo traveler I can’t recommend it.

The rooms had a great view and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the staff were nice and helpful. The soundproofing could have been better.
