Hotel Yoshi Kaohsiung felt every bit as good as the high-end four-star hotels I've stayed at in Singapore recently, which really surprised me. The nightly rate was still very affordable, even though the place feels luxurious, and the Google Maps photos matched what we found. The location by the station made it easy to get around the city at any time. Everyone we met was helpful and went out of their way for us. The staff were consistently friendly, and housekeeping remembered that I needed two pillows on one side of the bed after noticing it once. I never had to ask again. Thanks to the Hotel Yoshi Kaohsiung team, Yoshi, and Larry for making the trip so much smoother. We'll stay here again and recommend it to people visiting the area.

We spent 10 nights here, and both the front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly throughout and very helpful with my requests. The room was spacious and clean, and the customer service was exceptional. Yanchengpu (Yanchengpu) metro station is only about a three-minute walk away. Love Pier (Love Pier) light rail station is also nearby, around 12 minutes on foot. I'd stay here again if I return to Kaohsiung.

The breakfast was really good, and there's also a snack room by reception. The staff were kind and friendly, which made for a pleasant stay. The rooms look beautiful, are well equipped, and feel luxurious for a three-star price. Soundproofing could be better, but the area is quiet even though it's central, with the pier and several stations within walking distance.

The room was clean, in a quiet area, and big enough for three or four people. The staff were warm and welcoming, though they didn't speak much English, so Google Translate helped a lot. Hotel Yoshi is just a three-minute walk from Yanchengpu MRT Station, which we loved. We had a great stay and would come back when we visit Kaohsiung again.
