There’s a water dispenser on every floor, and the receptionist was so kind. The young, slightly plump one was especially nice and friendly, and understood that I might need a somewhat late checkout. Check-in was around 3 pm and check-out around 12 pm. This is the best place to stay if you want to visit Cijin Beach and Sunset Bar, right across the street. Super recommended.

The people were friendly, though they spoke little English. It has more of a motel feel and is well located, but for almost anything you want to do, you have to take the ferry to the other side. Meals were included, but compared with other, more luxurious hotels, I felt I paid too much.

The ocean views from every room are remarkable. I love watching the container ships come and go. The worn carpet is about the only bad thing I can say, which says a lot. Check the ferry's last departure times, or you could end up with a hefty Uber bill getting back from attractions.

I stayed here in 2021 and had a wonderful time, so I’m extremely disappointed by the drop in quality. The first room smelled of smoke. We asked for another, and that one didn’t smell smoky, but it did smell like seafood, and the traffic outside was easy to hear. It also didn’t feel very clean, with random patches on the ceiling and walls.
