The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the manager was incredibly helpful when we needed to change our accommodation at the last minute. Formosa station is nearby, with trains going in all directions, and there are plenty of good food options around. I'd happily stay here again.

We loved the design of art room 401. There was lovely sunlight, nice decor, and a huge sofa with a low table. Artwork on the divider between the bed and living area gave the room some privacy without making it feel cramped. Everything was tidy and clean, and being near Liuhe night market was a big bonus. The bar has great proper food and cocktails, and the male bartenders look decent and clearly do a good job with the drinks. Guest service, though, didn't seem to be their strong point. There's no elevator, so keep that in mind if you can't carry your own luggage. I'd come back to try another room.

I tried to get a drink here on Saturday night but couldn't. They started by asking whether I had a reservation, without even saying hello. The place was packed, with some people waiting outside. Maybe management could rearrange the seating to fit more guests, or let people stand with a drink while waiting for a table. Just a suggestion if they want more business and happier customers.

The drinks were pleasant enough, though nothing memorable. Saturday was packed, so it's probably best to book ahead. They have a handy online booking system. Service felt lukewarm and rushed: we got menus, and before we'd even opened the first page they were asking if we were ready to order. They kept asking whenever they passed our table. My husband's drink arrived, then mine came so late that we'd nearly finished his. As soon as I took my last sip, someone came to clear the empty cups. Maybe that's just how it goes in a busy bar.
