Jezreel Inn

That bookshelf was my favorite part, with so many travel books to browse. On the 12th floor, the shared space is bright, spacious, and clean, with drinking water, tea, coffee, and snacks. My private room was even better, quiet and super clean. I slept better there than anywhere else on my trip around Taiwan. This is where I’ll stay whenever I come to Kaohsiung.

The private double room was really comfortable, with great beds and good showers. I also loved the view of the park from the 12th floor. Traffic can get busy, so light sleepers might want earplugs. Apart from that, everything was flawless.

We booked at the last minute and the staff welcomed us warmly, then walked us through the facilities and how to wash and dry clothes. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we slept well, though we checked out early and missed the included breakfast. The MRT exit right beside the hotel makes getting around easy. The building itself seemed a little sketchy, but inside it feels like another world. I’d recommend it.

Everything was extremely clean and well looked after, from the dorm and bathroom to the shared areas. The sheets were clean, and even the slippers are scrubbed with soap and water. The staff were helpful and friendly, too. I left my bags early in the morning, and when I came back to check in later, they had put them in my dorm locker.
