The room was roomy and quiet, and there was a little cafe corner with complimentary coffee and snacks. The owner gave us a really warm welcome, was enthusiastic throughout, and even took us shopping. Great value and a good location.

The location made it easy to get to a nearby night market and the rest of Takau. The owner was relaxed and really friendly, and the other staff were lovely too. They served a healthy, tasty breakfast right to our room, and the lobby had free ice cream plus hot and cold drinks. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. I'd definitely recommend it.

Jenny, the co-owner, was especially lovely, and the rest of the staff were friendly too. It's an affordable, no-frills place right in the city center, with spacious, clean, quiet rooms. A good-value option if you're watching your budget but still want to feel comfortable.

The bathroom had a bit of a sewage smell now and then, and its partly glass door let light into the room in the morning. That's why I'd put it at 4.5 stars. Otherwise, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the small balcony was a nice extra. It was in a perfect spot, had all the facilities I needed, and there's an elevator to get to the rooms. Staff were friendly too.
